Asian Inspired Barra

This is a great dish to get excited about post WOD, ensuring that you get that protein hit as well as a burst of flavour. 

I usually do up 1KG for meal prep and reheat as needed. This marinate also works with salmon, chicken & beef!! 

What you’ll need -

  • 1/2 Lemon grass stalk finely chopped

  • 2 TBS of freshly grated ginger

  • 2 TBS of garlic

  • 1 chilli chopped (heat to preference)

  • Coriander roots, washed & chopped

  • 1 lemon zested then cut into rings

  • 1/4 cup of sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)

What you’ll need to do

  1. Simples. Chuck all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix together, marinate the Barra (the longer the better)

  2. Crank the oven and OR pan fry.

  3. Serve with either some jasmine rice or sweet potato.

  4. Enjoy!!
